Living in a city does have its benefits over the peace and tranquillity of the countryside. However, when it comes to our treasured gadgets there is something that the hectic lifestyle around us gives us too much of and that is noise.
When we are on the phone or listening to our music our brains are constantly fighting to separate the outside noise from the sounds we want to hear, hence the introduction of noise cancelling headphones; in the case of our music gadgets. Sony has now announced their latest incarnations and they come in three different models.
There is the MDR-NC33 model that is in the form of earphones and are said to be able to remove up to 90 per cent of outside noise. The MDR-N600D is the over the head headphone and is said to be able to cut the noise by up to 99 per cent. The final model, the MDR-NC300D, another earphone design, should cut the unwanted noises by up to 98 per cent.
Each one allows you to choose between three different modes; Mode A is for general or movie, Mode B is for airplane atmosphere and Mode C is for crowded and noisy places.
As of yet there is no news on price and availability but with these claimed successful figures I can see them being popular.
