Most people like boiled eggs whether they are soft, medium or hard boiled: a nice start to the day, especially on a cold morning. Now to get the egg to how you like it can be hit or miss unless you have an egg timer, but the trouble with egg timers is that they are all so dull. You set the timer to count down and wait. All you get when it is ready is a beep. Where is the fun in that? Where is that something from your gadget to make you smile in the morning? Thankfully, the BeepEgg can provide that little bit of amusement in the morning.
The BeepEgg is the size of an egg and needs to be stored with the eggs. When you want your breakfast, stick the eggs you want into the pot of water with the BeepEgg. The internal thermometer of the gadget keeps track of the temperature of the egg and the surrounding water. When the egg gets too soft boiled you will hear the tune “Killing Me Softly” from the BeepEgg, when it gets to medium, “I Wish I was a Hen” is played and when it reaches hard boiled the tune from the X-Factor, when the judges walk on the stage, is played.
To show it is working the BeepEgg beeps when the water is about 45 degrees and again when the water is boiling.
