Those of us who like our gadgets will likely have a PC and laptop or netbook. Generally for moving data between the two we will use pen drives or SD cards. This, most of the time, will be fine for small amounts of data, but if you have lots of large files it can become tedious swapping the pen drive in and out of the USB ports.

PQI have come up with a neat little gadget that will negate the use of a pen drive in this instance called the Cool Drive U360. The U360 allows bi-directional data flow making it more convenient for swapping data between the two machines. The USB flash drive design sits in one of your machines while a mini USB connection establishes the link between the two machines with the USB cable provided.

When the physical link has been made all you need to do is double click on the UR-Transfer software that is on the device and you will be able to share and browse files and folders on both machines. Another feature of the software is that it allows you to synchronise folders and Outlook.

With a range of storage capacities from 4GB to 16GB and transfer speeds up to 21MB/s, this should be a handy addition to your collection of gadget tools.
